Released

Released on 30 October 2026 from Banaskantha, Gujarat

PM Kisan pays one installment (kist) in each of the year's three periods:

In recent years the December to March installment has come in February or March: 28 February in 2024, 24 February in 2025 and 13 March in 2026. That is only what happened before, not a promised date. Only the government can confirm the date.

Where the installment date is announced

The government announces the date a few days before the release. Once an installment is released, it is posted at the top of the pmkisan.gov.in front page:

Sample Image The notice on the pmkisan.gov.in front page announcing the release of the 24th installment
The installment notice on the pmkisan.gov.in front page: “The Hon'ble Prime Minister has released the 24th installment of the PM-Kisan on 30th October 2026 from Banaskantha, Gujarat.” Next to it: “eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. Biometric-based eKYC option is now available for CSC VLE Logins, PM-KISAN Mobile Application and State Authorized User Logins.”

The pmkisan.gov.in front page is the most reliable place to look. The government's press releases on PIB (pib.gov.in) also give the date and the place of release, and you will find the same news on Kisan e-Mitra and in the PM-KISAN app.

Be careful: Stay away from WhatsApp messages like “Money arrives tomorrow, click this link” and from links you don't know. There is no form to fill and no fee to pay for an installment. Links like these can steal your bank or Aadhaar details.

Check these before the next installment

Before the installment date, open your status and make sure all three of these say Yes. If even one says No, that installment will be held back:

  1. eKYC Status should say Yes. If it doesn't, get your eKYC done.
  2. Land Seeding should say Yes. If it doesn't, get land seeding done.
  3. Aadhaar Bank Account Seeding Status should say Yes. If it doesn't, get Aadhaar–bank seeding done.

Each of these can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. So don't wait for the date. Check now.

How to tell whether the installment has arrived

  • Your bank sends an SMS as soon as the installment comes in.
  • You can get your passbook updated at the bank or a customer service point and look for the entry.
  • You can also look at your PM Kisan status. If the status shows Payment Success next to the installment, the money has been sent. It also shows which bank it went to.

The installment doesn't reach every account on the day of release. Sending it to crores of farmers takes a few days, so wait about a week before checking your status again.

Everyone else got the installment, but I didn't

  1. Look for your name in your village's beneficiary list.
  2. Read the message for that installment in your status. Here is what each message means.
  3. Get whatever says No under Eligibility Status fixed.
  4. If everything says Yes and the installment still hasn't come, file a complaint.

Common questions

How much will the 25th installment be?

₹2,000. pmkisan.gov.in still gives the scheme amount as ₹6,000 a year, paid in three installments of ₹2,000. Believe news of an increase only when the government announces it itself.

My last installment was held back. Will it come with the next one?

That depends on why it was held back and when the problem was fixed. Ask your block agriculture office about your held-up installments, or raise it through a complaint.

Will the next installment stop if I don't have a Farmer ID?

According to the government, a Farmer ID is currently required only for new registrations, and only in states where the Farmer Registry has started. For farmers already being paid, the conditions for the 24th installment were still eKYC, land seeding and Aadhaar–bank seeding. The Farmer ID page has the full details.

The installment didn't come on the release date. What should I do?

This happens often. The installment reaches different accounts over a few days. Check your status again after a week.

Is this a government website?

No. Kisan Kisht is my own website. Your records are with the government, and only the government can change them.
